Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Description
This role involves installing and assisting with low voltage wiring and cabling for a new greenfield operation. You will support the build-out of an operational facility by pulling wire and cable, using hand and power tools, and working safely in an outdoor construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Pull low voltage wire and cable throughout a greenfield construction site to support the build-out of the facility.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and tape measures accurately to install and secure cabling and related components.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and technicians to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and handled.
- Adhere to OSHA 10 safety practices and all site safety policies while working on an outdoor construction site.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to coordinate work and minimize disruptions on the job site.
- Inspect installed cabling for proper placement and integrity and report any issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Schedule
- 5a.m. -5 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 5 a.m. (60-72 hour weeks)
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring and low voltage cabling.
- Ability to use construction-related hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Proficiency in using a tape measure and reading basic measurements accurately.
- Familiarity with working in a construction environment, preferably on greenfield projects.
- OSHA 10 certification or the ability to work in accordance with OSHA 10 safety standards.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor setting, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Work Environment
This position is based in an outdoor construction work environment, primarily on a greenfield site. You will work around active construction activities, using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment such as tape measures. The role may involve varying weather conditions, uneven terrain, and physically demanding tasks. Work hours can extend beyond standard schedules, with plenty of overtime available depending on project needs. Appropriate construction attire and personal protective equipment are required in accordance with site safety standards.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
