Temp Material Handler (1st Shift) - RC

We are looking for dedicated Temp Material Handler in Mentor OH 44060 with $21.00/hr pay for a 1-month temp opportunity to assist with a short-term surge in business. This role pays $21.00/hour and is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week). Potential for daily overtime; Saturday OT hours are 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Dress Code: Shorts and blue jeans are allowed. Steel-toe shoes are strictly required (candidate must provide their own footwear; safety vests will be provided on-site).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near the worksite.
• Accurately fill orders and issue materials and supplies based on incoming requests.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Forklift Certification required. (Reach truck and order picker experience is helpful; candidate may be raised up to 24 ft in the air on an order picker).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse in varying temperature conditions.
• Strong comprehension of oral and written communication to read labels, tickets, and product documentation.
• Accurate basic math skills, high attention to detail, and good time management skills.

Work Environment:

• Operation of powered industrial equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, Moffett forklifts, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies
• Physically demanding work involving lifting, bending, twisting, and moving materials throughout the shift
