Location: Peterborough, NH
Employment Type: Permanent
Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time | Days | Monday–Friday
Hours: 8-hour shifts

Salary: $19.90 – $27.00/hour, based on education and experience

About the Opportunity
Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join its Internal Medicine team in Peterborough, NH. This position provides clinical support to physicians and office nurses while delivering compassionate, professional care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, laboratory tests, and other procedures within the scope of MA certification.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, including obtaining vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and adequately stocked.
- Take and return patient phone calls as directed by the physician.
- Provide patients with instructions and information as directed by the physician.
- Maintain adequate inventory and requisition medical supplies as needed.
- Assist with medical record maintenance, including referral forms, laboratory slips, and other required documentation.
- Assist patients to and from examination rooms and prepare them for examinations and treatments.
- Assist physicians with nursing procedures as directed.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, managers, and other clinical team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned while working within the scope of MA certification.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Completion of at least 2 years of formal Medical Assistant education or specialized Medical Assistant training – Required.
- At least 3 years of relevant Medical Assistant experience in a medical setting – Required.
- Current Medical Assistant certification – Required.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) – Required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing needs.
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
