American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby / Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring at least 2 years of experience, Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification, and a WV or compact RN license.

- Women's Center unit covering L&D, Mother Baby, and Postpartum (LDRP) in an acute care hospital setting \n
- 12-bed L&D unit with 1 OR suite, 1 triage bed, and 4 postpartum beds with approximately 80–100 births per year \n
- Patient population includes gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia \n
- Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines \n
- OB techs are available on the unit \n
- RNs are responsible for reading fetal monitor strips; telemetry is available and monitor techs are on-site \n
- GE Centricity EFM system in use; Epic is the EMR \n
- RNs are required to titrate drips including Oxytocin, Insulin, and Epidural \n
- Respiratory equipment available includes CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators \n
- 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), with weekends as scheduled \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- Holiday coverage required for either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day \n
- On-call requirement of 3–4 call shifts per 6-week schedule; must be available and on-site within 30 minutes when on call \n
- No floating requirements \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active WV or compact RN license required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS and Advanced Fetal Monitoring \n
- Minimum 2 years of L&D/LDRP RN experience required \n
- Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines required \n
- Experience in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care required \n
- Basic fetal monitoring skills required \n
- Valid, unexpired driver's license required for consideration \n
- Any licensing hits must be disclosed upfront \n
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n

- Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor & delivery, mother baby, and postpartum settings \n
- Ability to circulate and recover cesarean sections is preferred \n
- Charge nurse and house supervisor support is available \n
- OB/Neonatologist is not in-house 24/7 \n
- Scrubs are provided by the facility \n
- Unit-specific orientation is provided intradepartmentally \n
