American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience, Epic proficiency, and hands-on experience with Siemens and Philips scanners for a night/evening shift hospital contract in California.

- Acute care hospital setting, CT Scan unit \n
- Adult acute care and emergency department patient population \n
- Procedures include abdominal/pelvic, chest, head, vascular (PE, CTA, aorta), spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), musculoskeletal trauma, brain perfusion, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, CT arthrography, virtual colonography, and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) \n
- 5x8-hour shifts with variable start times: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 7:00 PM–3:30 AM \n
- Weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs \n
- No floating required \n
- Epic EMR required \n
- Siemens and Philips scanner experience required \n

- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required \n
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) \n
- ARRT advanced certification preferred \n
- Proficiency with Siemens and Philips CT equipment required \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Experience in adult acute care and emergency department settings \n
- Skills required include starting peripheral IVs, performing aspirations, biopsies, drainage procedures, myelography, CT arthrography, virtual colonography, and brain perfusion studies \n
- Active California license required if applicable \n
- 2 professional supervisory references required \n
- First-time travelers will be considered \n
- \n
- Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate \n
- Return/former staff are reviewed on a case-by-case basis \n
- All time off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration \n
- An EKG exam is required prior to start — 20 questions including 17 rhythm strips and 3 general questions, 45-minute time limit, 80% minimum passing score, with two attempts permitted; failure results in assignment cancellation \n
- Required specialty modules must be completed prior to start \n
- This is a smoke- and nicotine-free facility; candidates must arrive free of tobacco odor \n
