ESS Clinical is currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a full-time 1:1 nursing position with Aurora Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year.
\nWe are looking for an RN to provide individualized nursing care for a kindergarten-aged student throughout the school day. The student requires continuous ventilator support via tracheostomy, tube feedings via G-tube, and toileting assistance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pediatric nurse who is passionate about providing specialized care while helping a young student safely access their educational environment.
Pay Starting at $45/hr W2 and $51/hr 1099

- Provide one-on-one nursing care throughout the school day. \n
- Monitor and manage a ventilator via tracheostomy, ensuring airway safety and responding appropriately to respiratory needs. \n
- Administer and monitor G-tube feedings, medications, and treatments as ordered. \n
- Assist with toileting and other activities of daily living while maintaining the student's dignity and privacy. \n
- Continuously assess the student's health status and respond promptly to changes in condition. \n
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and daily health records. \n
- Develop positive relationships with the student, family, school staff, and multidisciplinary care team. \n
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and healthcare providers to ensure the student's medical and educational needs are met. \n
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and follow district emergency protocols. \n
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, district policies, and nursing standards. \n
- \n
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing. \n
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. \n
- Current BLS/CPR Certification. \n
- Experience caring for pediatric patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, and G-tubes is strongly preferred. \n
- Experience in pediatric home health, critical care, school nursing, or medically complex patient care is highly preferred. \n
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. \n
- Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, family-centered care. \n
- Successful completion of all district background checks, fingerprinting, and onboarding requirements. \n

- Pediatric nursing experience. \n
- Ventilator and tracheostomy management. \n
- Enteral feeding (G-tube) administration. \n
- Emergency airway management. \n
- School nursing or special education experience. \n
