Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (OB/GYN) position in Mt. Pleasant, MI, requiring 2+ years of OB experience and an active MI RN license.

Details\n

• 13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery (OB/GYN) unit
\n
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required as needed
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN (must be dated within the last two years)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of OB/Labor & Delivery experience required
\n
• Copies of all certifications must be provided for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Collaborates with physicians to develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans
\n
• Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders for OB patients
\n
• Delegates to and oversees support staff including Nurse Assistants, OB Care Associates, and Nursing Clerks
\n
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
