Join a growing engineering team where your technical troubleshooting skills will directly support product quality and reliability. This role offers hands-on work with advanced test equipment and clear exposure to full-cycle repair, calibration, and documentation processes. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment that values precision, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate complex electronic devices down to the sub-assembly and component level
  • Set up and operate test fixtures and equipment to verify assemblies against established procedures prior to quality inspection and shipment
  • Complete engineering change order work, including rework, repair, and product modifications as specified
  • Prepare repair quotations, maintain accurate documentation, and track inventory of repair parts and supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold safety and quality standards throughout the repair process
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; documented electronics technical training, certification, or 2+ years of equivalent hands-on experience
  • Solid understanding of troubleshooting theory and practical application
  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, frequency counters, power supplies, and related test instruments
  • Strong soldering and component-level repair skills, including proper use of cleaning solvents and prep methods
  • Manual dexterity and close visual acuity for detailed, exacting work, including color-coded materials
  • Ability to read and follow verbal and written technical instructions, specifications, and procedures
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team setting
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting purposes
Preferred: prior experience with regulated device repair and industry soldering certification (e.g., IPC).
