Director of Dietary Services

Progressive Skilled Nursing Facility in the Potsdam/Massena area seeks a Food Service Director to join its team.

Primary job responsibilities include:  Oversee the day- to-day operation of the Food Service Department.  Provide leadership to the dietary staff, including training and supervision.  Coordinate schedules and job assignments of employees to promote efficiency of operations. •Coordinate procurement of all food items and supplies.  Assure proper sanitation and food safety standards are met.  Maintain department logs and records.  Maintain kitchen equipment and work area in proper working order.  Assist in menu and recipe development Serve Safe certificate or New York State Food Handler certificate required.  Flexible schedule.
