Vascular Interventional Rad Tech

Job Summary:

• Prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, evaluate images, document care, communicate with patients/doctors, and ensure radiation safety. .
• The patient population consists of those requiring an invasive cardiology or invasive radiology study. The Registered Radiologic Technologist will assist the physician in all procedures and provide a valuable service to the patient and the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions, vital signs, and histories.
• Administer medications, set up IVs, perform diagnostics, and manage wounds.
• Monitor patients and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with the care team and educate patients/families.
• Document care and maintain records per hospital policy.

Requirements:

• RN license in state of assignment.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• IEMA Radiography License
• Radiography (R)(ARRT)
