Gear Hobbing Machine Operator

A well-established manufacturer in the Cleveland area is seeking an experienced Gear Hobbing Machine Operator for a 1st shift opportunity. This role is responsible for setting up and operating gear hobbing equipment to produce precision components while maintaining strict quality standards.

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate gear hobbing machines
• Read blueprints and work from engineering drawings
• Perform inspections using precision measuring tools
• Make machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Maintain quality and production standards

What We're Looking For:

• Experience operating gear hobbing machines or similar gear-cutting equipment
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Manufacturing or machining experience required
