Unit Manager/Supervisor - Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

 
Job Description:
The Unit Manager/Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing the nursing staff and nursing aides in rendering resident care services.  They are responsible for ensuring that the clinical unit staff is complying with the policies and procedures set forth by the facility as well as state and federal regulations.  They ensure staff is aware of all residents and their needs and that these needs are met.  The Unit Manager/Supervisor is a member of Nursing Administration.

Position Requirements:

• Must have an active RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia
• Must have ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college or have graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Experience in long-term care is preferred
• Previous supervisor experience is preferred
• CPR certfication required
• Scheduling experience preferred
