Supported Employment Specialist

About the Role:
BARYEH HOMECARE SOLUTIONS LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Supported Employment Specialist to join our team in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities:

• Work with the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) and other agencies to support participants in employment.
• Assist participants in developing person-centered plans for employment success.
• Provide job readiness training, including application assistance, resume building, and interview preparation.
• Partner with employers to identify, develop, and maintain employment opportunities for participants.
• Conduct job site coaching, task analysis, and ongoing support to ensure job retention.
• Maintain accurate records and case files following organizational and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with case managers, referral agencies, and team members to provide holistic support.
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain required certifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or High school diploma or GED (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting individuals with DD/ID (preferred).
• Valid Kentucky driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check, drug screen, and TB risk assessment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and virtual communication tools.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to perform tasks such as prolonged standing, medium lifting, bending, and climbing.
• Comfort working in diverse environments, including outdoor and off-site locations.
