CNC Mill Machinist - Full-time

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating 3-axis vertical mills with Fanuc controls and possess a strong understanding of machining principles, blueprint reading, and GD&T. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC 3-axis vertical milling machines.
• Work with Fanuc controls to run production and custom parts.
• Set tool heights and work offsets accurately.
• Use edge finders and precision measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience required.
• Experience with 3-axis vertical mills.
• Proficient with Fanuc controls.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Experience setting tool heights and work offsets.
• Ability to use an edge finder and common measuring instruments.
• Must be able to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more and perform physical job duties throughout the shift.
