Job Description
Express Employment Professionals of Ithaca, NY is recruiting Property Maintenance Technicians for multiple openings with our busy clients in the Ithaca area. As a Property Maintenance Technician, you'll respond to service requests, conduct inspections, and make repairs in apartments and townhouses. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC experience. A variety of roles are available from entry-level maintenance to specialized roles in plumbing and more!
Property Maintenance Tech Job Duties:
- Address service requests and concerns promptly
- Take care of various repair and maintenance duties, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, utilizing a range of tools
- Assist with grounds cleanup and landscaping as required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all levels
Qualifications:
- Prior maintenance experience is essential.
- 2+ years of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry preferred depending on role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently handle repair tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and an interest in advancing to a supervisory role.
