Maintenance Tech (Production Facility)

Pay Rate: $27 - 30/hour

Job Overview (Production Facility):

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.

• Execute production line changeovers and assist in new equipment installations.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts usage.

• Supervise mechanics in the absence of the Plant Engineer.

• Ensure a safe work environment by inspecting lines and reporting hazards.

Essential Requirements (Production Facility):

• Explain your production line changeover process, including tooling inspection and storage, while ensuring minimal downtime.

• Describe diagnosing and repairing an urgent electrical or mechanical machinery breakdown safely and quickly under pressure.

• Must have used checklists for preventive maintenance on components, lubrication, and safety hazards.

• Explain how you would train a junior mechanic.

Skills Requirements (Production Facility):

• Experience working with air compressors, vacuum pumps, and performing basic weld repairs 

• Ability to work in a role that requires high visual attention and potential Saturday overtime.

• Bilingual skills are preferred.

1st shift: 7am to 3pm

2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm

3rd Shift: 11pm to 7am
