Warehouse Worker /Forklift Operator /Immediate Start

Position: Material Handler
Location: Plano, TX 75074
Duration: 3-month contract (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr (W2)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Description:
Material Handlers are key members of the warehouse team. While shipping, receiving, and processing orders within the Distribution Center, they ensure customers receive the correct products on time.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive, process, and ship products.
• Verify received products and quantities against shipping documentation.
• Process orders for shipment to customers, branches, or distribution centers.
• Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
• Consolidate shipments from multiple order processing zones as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Replenish stock from reserve inventory locations as needed.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve order issues.
• Interact with couriers and truck drivers to facilitate efficient shipping and receiving.

Qualifications:

• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs with assistance when required.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on assignment.
