Part-Time Delivery Driver -up to $21/hour-Pharmacy Tech. Requried

Summary:    Responsible for completing medication deliveries to clients of a long-term-care pharmacy.

This is a part time position: 2 full days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 hours each day), and every other Monday evening (4 hours). Also, cover for vacation and sick leave.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Organizes medications and delivery sheets for delivery.

·         Delivers medications to pharmacy customers in a variety of locations.

·         Obtains proper signature upon delivery.

·         Scan delivery sheets into software upon return to pharmacy.

·         Loads and unloads deliveries to and from pharmacy using company provided boxes and materials.

·         Maintains neatness and cleanliness of company vehicle(s).

·         Immediately reports any vehicle maintenance concerns to Supervisor.

·         Operates company owned vehicle(s), in a safe and effective manner and in compliance with company policy.

·         Reports all injuries and occupational related illnesses immediately to management.

·         Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.

·         Reports any health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to management.

·         Attends and participates in scheduled training sessions as required.

·         Performs other related duties as assigned.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; reach with hands and arms, talk, see or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly operate a company vehicle driving 200-250 miles per day in an eight-hour shift.
