    Wages and Benefits:
    Minimum hourly rate: $26.74 (new rate for 2026-2027)
    Wages can be found in Appendix A, Class F.
    Medical and dental benefits eligible position for full-time positions 30 hours per week or more.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with principals to develop and implement student support plans including procedures for positive behavior support, mediation, and restorative processes.
    2. Supervise the Student Support Room and facilitate student behavior reflection, relationship restoration, and positive classroom engagement.
    3. Assist the administrative team with parent communication, providing information to parents concerning school related matters.
    4. Attend grade level meetings and help collaboratively develop plans to support student needs.
    5. Identify struggling students and collaborate with staff to collect data and feedback to share with parents during meetings to develop creative, individual student support plans.
    6. Demonstrate an understanding of, and ability to support, students IEP needs and attend IEP meetings as needed.
    7. Lead weekly student groups aimed at addressing relevant issues and concerns in the student body.
    8. Plan and enact before and after school programs targeted at improving student climate.
    9. Lead educational outreach initiatives focused on developing a positive student climate.
    10. Confer with counselors and teachers to develop individual preventive discipline plans.
    11. Assist in monitoring and supervision of school facilities in conjunction with principals.
    12. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.


    Qualifications:

    1. Experience in working with student discipline issues.
    2. Experience with middle school students and has demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with middle school students.
    3. Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
    4. Evidence of highly effective student management and conflict resolution skills.
    5. Ability to effectively collaborate with staff and parents to address behavioral concerns and issues.
    6. Ability to communicate effectively; orally, in writing and via the phone.
    7. Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and make independent decisions.
    8. Must be available before school, after school and designated days in the summer for special events, meetings and trainings.
    9. Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
