Job Title: Controller
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and analytical skills to drive financial efficiency and support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, key performance metrics, and financial reports.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs and inventory accounting processes.
- Manage capital expenditures, capital project accounting, and fixed asset tracking.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
- Collaborate with corporate finance, shared services, and cross-functional teams on business initiatives and special projects.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations through financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with a fully integrated ERP system; Oracle experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a key financial advisor to plant leadership.
Work Environment
This role is based in an office setting and includes managing a team of two direct reports. The work environment promotes collaboration with cross-functional team members and shared services groups both at the business unit and corporate level

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.69 - $67.31/hr.
