Step into a rewarding role supporting K-8 students in a Day Treatment Program setting. As a dedicated paraprofessional, you’ll play a key part in fostering growth and educational success for young learners who may need extra guidance throughout their school day.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support setting is preferred
• Comfortable working one-on-one and in small group settings with students in grades K-8
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Empathetic, patient, and responsive to students’ individual needs
• Capable of maintaining a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students as directed by certified staff
• Assist in implementing individualized education and behavioral plans
• Support classroom routines, transitions, and activities to help students stay engaged
• Encourage and model positive social interactions among students
• Document progress and report observations to the teaching and clinical team
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects the dignity and confidentiality of all students
