Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, Epic proficiency, and ARRT(R) certification for a 13-week day shift contract at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital.

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staffed beds
\n
• Outpatient mammography setting
\n
• Procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, stereotactic biopsy, and needle localizations (preferred)
\n
• Uses PACS system
\n
• Charting in Epic (experience required)
\n
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
\n
• No on-call, no weekends, no floating between units
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
\n
• Current ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
\n
• Prior travel experience required
\n
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
\n
• Experience with PACS required
\n
• License required if applicable
\n
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
\n
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
\n

• Candidates must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
\n
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
\n
• Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per diem must disclose the location(s) and dates worked
\n
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify; local candidates may be accepted at a different rate
\n
• Up to 6 days of RTO (or 3 consecutive) may be approved; requests beyond 6 days require client approval and may delay an offer
\n
• Must be available to work 3 of the 5 following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
\n
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
\n
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
\n
• No parking fee
