Job Description\n

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice. This role utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by themselves or others who are under their direction.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and care plans.
\n
• Implement and document nursing care in compliance with professional standards.
\n
• Direct and supervise nursing services delivered by other staff.
\n
• Ensure quality of care is maintained throughout the patient’s experience.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
\n

Schedule\n

This is a Day shift position, with an 8-hour schedule from 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM, guaranteeing 40 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• 2+ years of recent General Operating Room experience.
\n
• Experience with GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics.
\n
• Active RN license in the State of Maryland.
\n
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
\n
• COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
\n
• Ability to work on-call and adhere to the facility's scheduling needs.
\n
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
\n
