Registered Nurse - Labor Delivery & Post-Partum Care
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\nNight shift - 3x12 hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Job Description\nWe are seeking a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Labor Delivery and Post-Partum care for mothers and babies. This role involves both direct patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor Delivery and Post-Partum settings. \n
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs to assess progress and identify any complications. \n
- Support mothers during labor and delivery, providing education and emotional support. \n
- Ensure adherence to health care protocols and safety guidelines. \n
- Assist in postpartum care for mothers and newborns, including education on breastfeeding and infant care. \n
- \n
- Ohio State RN Licensure required. \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor Delivery and Post-Partum Care preferred. \n
- Current certifications in NRP, BLS, and EFM; ACLS and STABLE certifications preferred. \n
- Previous experience in charge roles and familiarity with Epic charting system is advantageous. \n
