📍 Utica, NY | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 40 hrs/week | ☀️ Days (5x8-Hour Shifts)
\n Seeking an experienced Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse to provide high-quality infusion therapy in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be chemotherapy certified and experienced in administering infusions and blood products to adult and geriatric patients.
\n Responsibilities:
\n Administer chemotherapy, biologic therapies, blood products, and other infusion treatments
\n Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after infusions
\n Manage infusion-related reactions and provide patient education
\n Operate infusion equipment, including Alaris and elastomeric pumps
\n Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
\n Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
\n Float to other areas as needed based on department needs
\n Requirements:
\n Active New York RN License
\n Minimum 1 year of outpatient infusion experience
\n Chemotherapy Certification required
\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications
\n Experience administering blood products
\n Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
\n Experience with EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, and infusion pump technology preferred
\n Assignment Details:
\n 13-week assignment
\n 40 hours per week
\n Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts
\n Adult and geriatric patient population
\n Common patient populations include oncology, neurology, anemia, and gastroenterology
\n Floating required as needed
\n Local and travel candidates accepted (75-mile radius policy)
