Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IMC/Stepdown position requiring at least one year of critical care experience, with night shift availability and Georgia or compact RN licensure.

  • Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Stepdown setting
  • \n
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • \n
  • Some weekend shifts required
  • \n
  • Holiday coverage is required
  • \n
  • 13-week assignment with possible extension
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active GA or compact RN license required; if license is pending, proof that the process is underway is required for consideration
  • \n
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent critical care and/or ICU experience required
  • \n
  • Proficiency in IV starts and lab draws/sample collection required
  • \n
  • Experience titrating critical drips required
  • \n
  • Intermediate-level patient monitoring skills required
  • \n
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • \n
  • A copy of Driver's License and SSN card are required for consideration
  • \n
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Royal blue scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility
  • \n
  • RTO must be minimal, particularly around holidays; managers will try to be flexible
  • \n
  • Up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules are required to be completed prior to start date via HealthStream
  • \n
  • Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
  • \n
  • Candidates residing 31–50 miles from the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
  • \n
