Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down float position requiring Epic proficiency, prior travel experience, and the ability to float across multiple inpatient units.

Details\n

\n
• 13-week contract with a day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
\n
• Float position based in the Nursing Administration unit, covering multiple departments based on greatest need
\n
• Departments include: Acuity Adaptable Unit (AAU - mixed patient types), Med/Surg, Inpatient Rehab, and ED Boarded patients
\n
• May be required to float to off-site locations within a 40-mile radius
\n
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
\n
• Epic EMR used
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active WI RN license or compact RN license valid in Wisconsin required
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
\n
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
\n

• Provides nursing care across multiple inpatient settings based on acuity and unit need, floating within skill set

• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
