We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant specializing in Gastroenterology to join our team on a full-time basis.

Position Overview: As a Full-Time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our healthcare team, providing comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education and support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with gastrointestinal concerns.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies and imaging studies.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice guidelines.
• Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
• experience working as a Physician Assistant preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
