Position SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider and is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
The LPN will work within the scope of their licensure while collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Essential Responsibilities- Provide direct, individualized nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Provider
- Assist with patient and family education
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Participate in team meetings and care coordination discussions
- Prepare, administer, and document medications in accordance with policy
- Assist in emergency situations as needed
- Prepare patients for examinations, including physical and gynecological exams
- Collect and document patient information accurately in the EHR
- Perform in-house lab tests and screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) per protocol
- Supervise and support Medical Assistants during clinical procedures
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards
- Follow infection control protocols and assist with staff training on equipment
- Provide float coverage to other centers as needed
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
- Maintain required CEUs and pursue ongoing professional development
- Support TFHC’s mission, vision, and values in all interactions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Florida
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- High attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care
- Flexibility to support multiple locations as needed

Please note that the employee’s initial training schedule may differ from the regular schedule of the position. All new hires, including part-time employees, must be available for up to 40 hours of in-person, on-site training during their first week. Additional mandatory training may continue for approximately two to three weeks, depending on the position and training requirements. Training may take place at a TFHC location other than the employee’s assigned work location.
