Compensation Range: $110.00–$125.00 per hour

Location: Houston, TX (Travel Throughout Harris County)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Lunch 12:00 PM–1:00 PM)

Position Summary

The Mobile Dentist provides diagnostic, preventive, restorative, and surgical dental services to eligible patients while managing daily clinical operations. This position supervises dental hygienists and assistants, maintains accurate clinical documentation, and ensures compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards while traveling between community care sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality dental services using sound clinical judgment.
• Diagnose dental conditions and establish comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform preventive, restorative, and surgical dental procedures.
• Document patient care and treatment plans within Dentrix electronic dental records.
• Communicate treatment recommendations with patients, parents, and clinical staff.
• Supervise dental hygienists and dental assistants in accordance with Texas State Board of Dental Examiners regulations.
• Ensure infection control, sterilization, and preventive maintenance procedures are consistently followed.
• Maintain adequate clinical inventory and approve monthly supply orders.
• Complete monthly service reporting and perform chart audits for documentation accuracy.
• Participate in appointment scheduling and patient referrals.
• Travel to multiple community locations throughout Harris County as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas Dental License.
• DEA Registration.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Experience providing comprehensive general dentistry services.
• Experience supervising dental clinical staff.
• Proficiency with Dentrix electronic dental records.
• Ability to travel daily throughout Harris County.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous mobile dentistry experience.
• Community health, FQHC, or public health experience.
• Experience with Dexis imaging software.
• Strong leadership and operational oversight experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
