Your impact

As a field technician serving the Madison market, you’ll be the expert customers count on to install new systems, keep machines running at peak performance, and restore uptime when issues arise. You’ll turn complex problems into clear, confident fixes—and make lifelong fans in the process.

What success looks like

• End-to-end ownership of service cases, from first call to final documentation.
• Professional, ethical representation of Ellison Technologies on every visit.
• Clear communication with machinists, engineers, and leadership.
• Hands-on guidance to operators and light support to the sales team when needed.

Your toolkit

• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers.
• Advanced mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLC diagnostics.
• Strength in CNC machine repair, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment diagnostics.

Imagine this scenario

It’s 8 a.m. in Madison and a 2‑4 axis lathe is down with a spindle drive fault. You review alarms, verify signals at the PLC, isolate an electrical issue, and have the line cutting chips before break. In the afternoon, you complete a scheduled PM on a 5+ axis VMC, update documentation, and provide a brief operator refresher on maintenance best practices.
