The Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to support material flow and inventory accuracy within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production lines are stocked, materials are handled efficiently, and safety and quality standards are consistently met.
What You'll Do
- Operate powered industrial equipment including forklift, tugger, and cherry picker
- Stock and organize materials to support production and inventory control
- Deliver materials to production lines and ensure full line readiness
- Maintain FIFO inventory rotation and proper material sequencing
- Support plant housekeeping, recycling, and material organization initiatives
- Monitor and report equipment issues and complete daily inspections
- Participate in inventory counts and material reorganization activities
Who You Are
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Powered Industrial Truck certification
- Ability to operate material handling equipment in manufacturing environment
- Basic math and documentation skills
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards is a plus
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work standards
Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet
- Frequent bending, lifting, climbing, and reaching
- No travel required
