Pastoral Care Associate

We are seeking to hire a Pastoral Care Associate.
- $23 to $27.88 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Full-Time.
Qualifications of Pastoral Care Associate:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate or accredited theological courses preferred.
- Knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching and principles, spiritual and sacramental practices within the Roman Catholic tradition, as well as other Christian denominations and faith traditions.
- Knowledge of certifying and regulating agencies’ rules and regulations of CBRF facilities and the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
- Knowledge of clinical, social, psychological needs, and ability to address spiritual needs of residents.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with a letter from their parish Pastor.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in pastoral care in a health-related ministry preferred.
- Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by NACC or ACPE preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build peer relationships.
- Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and create spiritual care plan.
Pastoral Care Associate Job Summary:
- Oversee and direct the delivery of a complete pastoral care program to residents, their loved ones, and staff of all faith traditions.
- Assess the education and training needs related to areas of pastoral support for elderly.
- Extend education and training opportunities to residents and their families, caregivers, staff, and community members.
- Coordinate service and ensure Chapel maintenance.
- Coordinate activities with other staff members.
