Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical unit
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy focus

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
• Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred
• ACLS certification is a plus
• Comfortable working independently and adapting to a fast-paced environment
