Job Details- Position: Registered Nurse – Telemetry
- Location: Silverdale
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Night Shift
- Schedule: 3×12
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2070 to $2270
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
- Perform detailed patient assessments and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall patient condition
- Interpret telemetry strips and promptly report significant rhythm changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patients with cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and medical-surgical conditions
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital quality initiatives
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting positive patient outcomes
- Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and caring for medically complex patients
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
