Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Shift: Days | 8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Community Health (Home Health) for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This opportunity is ideal for compassionate home health nurses who enjoy working independently while providing high-quality patient care in the community.

Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (hospital experience preferred)
- Home Health experience required
- Certified Home Health experience with OASIS proficiency required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
- Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of community health principles and home care regulations
- BSN preferred
- Infusion Therapy Certification preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Complete OASIS documentation and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Administer medications, wound care, IV therapy, and other physician-ordered treatments.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and home care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Maintain compliance with agency policies, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards.
- Manage daily caseload efficiently while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
