About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Vascular Surgery MD in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, 18711!

Our client in Pennsylvania is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for a 183-day assignment starting Oct 26, 2026. This Physician will manage a broad range of vascular cases, with shifts typically from 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, providing comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management including pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care, surgical oncology, and trauma management.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive vascular care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and pre-operative, operative, and post-operative management.
  • Manage patients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses within the vascular system (excluding the intracranial vessels, the heart, and those vessels intrinsic and immediately adjacent thereto), endocrine system, surgical oncology, and trauma.
  • Perform coordinated multimodality management of cancer patients by screening, surveillance, surgical adjunctive therapy, rehabilitation, and follow-up.
  • Follow patients through the full continuum of care, including admissions and discharges.
  • Assist in coordinating diagnostic tests prior to surgical procedures.
  • Educate and counsel patients and family members regarding treatment plans.
  • Provide professional direction to nursing staff.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Vascular Surgery is required.
  • EMR system used is CPRS.
