Job Description
FORKLIFT OPERATOR – 2ND SHIFT
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator with 3 to 5 years of forklift experience or a valid forklift certification. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, works well in a team environment, and is dependable, responsible, and willing to assist wherever needed.
Job Responsibilities:
·Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
·Transport materials and products to designated locations.
·Inspect forklifts daily for safety and maintenance needs, reporting any issues or damages.
·Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
·Ensure loads are secure and properly distributed before transport.
·Stack empty pallets and maintain organized storage areas.
·Perform daily equipment checks, including recharging forklift batteries and lubricating equipment.
·Use forklifts and other equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory.
·Scan products and update inventory using handheld scanners or warehouse systems.
·Wrap pallets and prepare finished products for shipment.
·Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
·Assist team members with warehouse and production tasks as needed.
·Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards.
·Complete daily production logs and equipment inspection reports accurately.
Qualifications:
·3 to 5 years of forklift experience or a valid forklift certification.
·Must have experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
·Ability to read and write in English.
·Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
·Responsible, dependable, and willing to assist with additional tasks as needed.
·Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, bend, and stand for extended periods as required.
Shift Available:
·2ND Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 PM
