Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Days | Great Benefits

The University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend is seeking a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Cardiopulmonary team at the Great Bend Campus. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide expert respiratory care across all hospital departments while supporting patient outcomes and mentoring new staff in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule

• Full-time, 36 hours/week on 12-hour day shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy in all hospital departments
• Perform patient assessments and recommend therapy using RT protocols
• Utilize Epic EMR and bedside medication verification
• Work independently in critical care after competency validation
• Mentor students and newly hired staff

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
• Kansas Respiratory Therapist (RT) License
• CRT or RRT credential through the NBRC
• Basic computer skills
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

Pay

• Base Pay: $22.58–$38.18/hour (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: Evenings +$2.30/hour; Nights +$3.75/hour; Weekends +$3.00/hour
