About the Role:
Join our passionate team at Little Cub Academy LLC as a Substitute Teacher! This exciting opportunity allows you to nurture and inspire young minds in a warm and welcoming environment. Substitute teachers are essential educators who manage classrooms, deliver lesson plans, and ensure student safety during regular teacher absences

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children 0-5 years 
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers to enhance curriculum and classroom activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among children.

Requirements:

• Must have completed basic classes in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or 3 months after hire date).
• Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth.
• Background check clearance required prior to employment.
