Quality Assurance - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to join their team. As a Quality Assurance team member, you will be supporting the QA & Product Safety department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring product quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance

Location: Tonawanda, NY

Pay Range: $26.47

Shift: monday-Friday 3pm-11pm

What's the Job?

• Obtain finished product samples according to line sampling requirements in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Analyze products for moisture, breakage, pH, and other quality parameters.
• Assist in HACCP and sanitation inspections to maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Perform duties necessary to meet SQF Level III standards and government regulations, prioritizing safety and quality.

What's Needed?

• Basic understanding of math and measurement instruments.
• Knowledge of company policies, including GMPs and safety policies.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
• Ability to walk and climb stairs for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
