Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Finisher/ Painter to join our team.

1st Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare wood surfaces by cleaning, scraping, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Operate sanding equipment
• Apply pre-stain conditioners, stains, primers, and paints using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
• Wipe away excess stains to achieve uniform color consistency and depth.
• Apply protective topcoats such as polyurethane, varnish, or lacquer for sealing.
• Maintain finishing equipment and keep a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a wood finisher, painter, or in a similar carpentry finish role.
• Deep knowledge of wood types and how they absorb different stains and finishes.
• Proficiency with tools, including orbital sanders, HVLP spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
• Strong eye for detail to match colors, blends, and identify surface flaws.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
