Carpenter/Roofer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems & Carpentry duties on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to high-quality construction outcomes.

Duties

• Install new roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment in accordance with blueprints and schematics
• Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs, ensuring proper sealing and weatherproofing with caulking and other materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing projects
• Prepare job sites by performing heavy lifting, framing, metal stud framing, or masonry work as needed for structural support
• Conduct restoration work including stucco application, tile laying, and trim carpentry to enhance roof aesthetics and functionality
• Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and labor requirements for accurate planning
• Collaborate with team members on construction site experience tasks such as scaffolding setup, safety protocols, and quality control

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading to plan projects effectively
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and fabrication techniques
• Experience with roofing installation, repair, and restoration including stucco and tile work
• Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing components related to roofing systems when applicable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form to prevent injury
• Familiarity with masonry, metal stud framing, carpentry, drywall finishing (trim carpentry), and handyman experience for comprehensive project support
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions
• Must have own toolbelt & tools.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Must have 5 - 10 years experience in roofing & some carpentry.
