PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring 6 Aluminum Welders for an immediate project supporting ferry construction. This is a 2+ month assignment with day and swing shift opportunities available. If you have experience welding structural aluminum and can pass a hands-on weld test, we want to hear from you.

• Production weld aluminum inserts on a ferry vessel.
• Utilize both MIG & TIG welding processes.
• Support the full structural workflow: scrap out, fit up, and final production weld-outs.
• (Optional opportunity for Fitters to handle layout and structural fitting).
• Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production schedules
• Read and follow fabrication drawings and welding procedures

  
  

• Test Spec: 1/2" 5083 aluminum plate with backing.
• Position: 3/4G position.
• Filler Material: 3/64" 5356 Superglaze wire.
• Equipment In Use: Lincoln 300xp / ln-25m combos, Powerwave/25m combos, and Cobramatic wire feeders.

• Certification: Active Aluminum Welding Certification.
• Tools: Must provide your own standard welding tools and safety gear.
• Screening: Ability to pass a mandatory background check, drug test, fit test, must be clean shaved
• Ability to work safely in a production shipyard environment 
• Availability: Ready to start ASAP on morning or swing shifts.
