Location: Ala Moana/Waikiki
Aloha! Our Hospitality division is growing and we are looking for On-Call Housekeepers / Janitors to join our team for upcoming events. This position is On-Call as it is based on when there are events so it is perfect for those who are already working and looking for flexible work.
The Housekeeping / Janitor assists in maintaining and clean and presentable environment for our facility guests and team members. With recent COVID-19 protocols having been implements this position is vital for maintaining a safe environment for all.
Schedule: On-Call based on events
Pay: $18.28 per hour (up to $730 per week)
Location: Ala Moana/Waikiki
Job Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop and maintain floor surfaces.
- Empty and maintain trash receptacles.
- Vacuum and maintain carpeted surfaces.
- General dusting and wiping of surfaces.
- Clean, sanitize and stock restroom facilities.
- Move trash dumpsters and operate trash compactor.
- Process recycled materials including sorting, hauling and bailing.
- Stock and maintain cleanliness or storage rooms and janitor closets.
- Use handheld 2-way radio for communication.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
Job Requirements:
- Successfully complete training on Bio-Hazard Communication and general safety practices as it applies to the job description.
- Demonstrate ability to work as a team member.
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
- Comfortable with labor duties including but not limited to standing, walking, push, pull, lifting, kneeling for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Must be able to report to work on time if not early.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in janitorial work, preferred minimum of six (6) months.
