Job Description
About the Role

Picture your day: you start by checking real-time inventory dashboards, confirming overnight receipts, and walking the tool crib to verify counts. You receive, inspect, and stage new stock, then update the system so every tool, part, and piece of equipment is accounted for. Throughout the shift, you issue tools to production, document every transaction for cost control, and keep a close eye on stock thresholds so replenishment requests go out before anyone runs short.

Midday might find you coordinating a tool repair, swapping out worn equipment, or hopping on a forklift to safely move materials. When a quick fix is needed, you perform light MIG/TIG welding or simple fabrication to keep operations moving. As production winds down, you retrieve and reconcile issued tools, secure the area, and leave the workspace clean, organized, and safe—always following company safety policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain a perpetual, system-based inventory of tools, equipment, and stock
  • Receive, inspect, unpack, and properly store incoming materials and equipment
  • Monitor min/max levels and initiate requisitions to replenish inventory
  • Track and document all tool check-outs/returns for accountability and cost control
  • Inspect tools and equipment for wear or damage; coordinate repairs or replacements
  • Retrieve tools and equipment at the end of production shifts
  • Operate forklifts to safely move materials, tools, and equipment within the facility
  • Perform light welding and basic fabrication tasks as needed
  • Keep the tool crib and warehouse clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
What You’ll Bring
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, tool room, or industrial support environment (preferred)
  • Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to obtain)
  • Basic welding experience; MIG/TIG preferred
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a shop environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems
Proficiency
