Support Patient Care in a Respected Ophthalmology Practice

WSi Healthcare is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to support a fast-paced ophthalmology practice in Colorado Springs. This temp-to-perm opportunity is a strong fit for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys diagnostic testing, accurate documentation, and compassionate patient care.

What You’ll Do

- Complete patient workups, including medical history and chief complaints
- Perform visual-acuity testing and preliminary eye examinations
- Conduct diagnostic testing, including OCT
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer eye drops as directed
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR/EHR
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment
- Provide patient education and post-visit instructions

What We’re Looking For

- Ophthalmic Technician or Ophthalmic Assistant experience preferred
- Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, procedures, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- COA, COT, or another relevant certification preferred but not required
