Universal Pre-K Lead Teacher

Do you love teaching and caring for children? We are seeking a qualified Univeral Pre-K teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities in our Four Year Old Pre-K program.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct young children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment, following curriculum according to the Liverpool School District standards
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Ed, pursuing a Master's Degree.

True North Center for Children is a licensed child care center in the Liverpool Central School District. We offer early education and care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are a before and after school provider as well.
