Job Description
Minutemen is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to oversee the organization's payroll functions at a client in Macedonia, OH. The ideal candidate will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local government regulations. Pay is $18-$21 per hour. This is a part time position of 16 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems
- Timely processing of payroll updates such as new hires, changes to pay, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations
- Experience with UKG Ready
- Knowledge of balancing, internal control and payroll taxes
- Maintain payroll records and employee information
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
- Assist with payroll reporting and related administrative tasks
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
Schedule:
- 16 hours per week
- Monday: Half-day
- Tuesday: 8-hour shift
- Wednesday: Half-day
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field.
Requirements:
2-5 years of related experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and payroll software.
Experience with UKG Ready
Able to lift 15 lbs, prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer
