Payroll Specialist (part time)

Minutemen is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to oversee the organization's payroll functions at a client in Macedonia, OH. The ideal candidate will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local government regulations. Pay is $18-$21 per hour. This is a part time position of 16 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule
• Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems
• Timely processing of payroll updates such as new hires, changes to pay, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations
• Experience with UKG Ready
• Knowledge of balancing, internal control and payroll taxes
• Maintain payroll records and employee information
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
• Assist with payroll reporting and related administrative tasks
• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors

Schedule:

• 16 hours per week
• Monday: Half-day
• Tuesday: 8-hour shift
• Wednesday: Half-day

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field.

Requirements:

2-5 years of related experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and payroll software.

Experience with UKG Ready

Able to lift 15 lbs, prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer
