MULTISITE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Multi-Site Maintenance Specialist provides maintenance support across multiple apartment communities throughout North Carolina. This position is responsible for performing maintenance repairs, assisting with unit turns, completing preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, and supporting property teams to ensure communities are safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. Frequent travel between assigned properties is required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance repairs at multiple apartment communities.
  • Complete service requests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting issues.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including unit turns and quality inspections.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and common areas.
  • Assist with property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Maintain curb appeal by ensuring grounds, buildings, and amenities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls on a rotating schedule, as assigned.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, OSHA standards, and applicable building codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with Property Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, residents, vendors, and fellow team members.
  • Assist with special projects, renovations, capital improvements, and new acquisitions as assigned.
  • Travel between assigned communities using a reliable personal vehicle.

All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
  • EPA Certification required.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required.
  • Valid North Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel extensively throughout assigned regions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
